| Eighth and final of 8 tops on a breathtaking but exhausting 16.5 mile trek from Dyffryn Ardudwy to Barmouth via Moelfre, Y Llethr, Diffwys and the southern Rhinogydd ridge. I was very tired by this point, but managed to drag myself to both the trig and the summit. It's a fine summit and the views are excellent, but I really wanted to stop walking by this point. The Cambrian Way descent to Bwlch y Lan seemed very steep and slippery, although the young guy with a huge rucksack coming up in the opposite direction seemed unphased! Rather than any more uphill I followed the watery path to Gellfawr and then ignored the option of climbing Garn to finish, instead heading to Barmouth via Dinas Oleu. | Tricky parking on the minor road near the phone box. Visited while doing nearby Dewys. Walked up to the end of the tarmac road, continued along track to intersection with RoW and as others up to the Bwlch, then north to Craig y Grut. Then splendid ridge walk south to Mynydd Egryn and it's south top with trig and cairn HP.
