On a damp morning with low clous and snow above about 200m so I don't reallty know what route I took except that it was from the south and that I climbed Pen y Gwely and Craig Yr Hwch.clivevilla21/11/2018
From Foel Rhiwlas. Flat sheepy summit. Mistakenly descended hill to W, grass but seriously steep: if you fell over you wouldn't stop rolling till you hit the bottom!Aye Jimmy05/05/2018
From minor road to North(parked 219 342)along road to Upper Ceiriog Way bridleway, Foel Wylfa,Foel Rhiwlas,Craig y Hwch and Pen y gwely back along bridleway to North, joined road again by Llechrydau farmhouse. Ascent from North across fields.Rob5025/03/2018

Completed in a loop with Mynydd Ledrod, Pen y Gwely (both) and Foel Rhiwlas. This surprisingly broad hill looks great from all around, but is rather boring on top, covered in Thistles. Offers great views as would be expected.tumpawumpa01/09/2016
From prow on the Rhiwlas road. Have been to the resv more times than I remember yet have never been up this top. A very fine view no doubt but very hazy today. Could just make out snow patches on the Berwyn ridge but the view is dominated by the Gyrn. Found the os surface block.stig_nest22/03/2016
