10.6 mile walk from end of little road leaving Llanberis (not many spaces to leave cars). Following good path into Maesgwm valley then a fairly steep pull onto Moel Cynghorion. We descended back to the col and climbed very steeply onto Foel Goch, then followed the lovely grassy ridge over Foel Gron and onto Moel Eilio (2nd time bagged) then a long descent to Bwlch Y Groes. Easy up onto Cefn-Du then back to col and descended along good tracks back to car. 968m ascent in high cloud/sunny/breezy conditions. Great views of the surrounding hills, a few people about.DanTrig13/06/2022

Third visit with 6th form school friends during 1981 to Tweets holiday cottage nr Deniolen. Bed at 3am, up at 9.30am for a solo (only one keen) walk up Snowdon (for 2nd time) along the Moel Eilio ridge. Took in this smaller off route peak first. (probably because it had a trig pillar so seemed significant)Chris Pearson18/09/1981
Some time in the 1990s, from the back garden, on a whim!ruthatlastblank
Used the footpath. It's a little overgrown and boggy but quite easy. We took the road towards waunfawr from Llanrug. Using the shortest rout as I had my 65+ step dad with me, if I take him out enough, he's going to attempt Snowdon. There's a fp but some of the way isn't that clear so I took a short cut and went up through the heather.Skarletkblank
