Track from road end and permissive parking beyond the gate. I crossed between the two lakes and easily up to the top and then explored the Large boulder and then several other options further North. Managed to get down and back to the car before the storm brewed up some serious buffeting by wind and lashings of rain... | Dazingdale | 27/09/2023 |

Parked at the lane-end above Glangors - permissive parking. Took the grass track up over the moor and down to the outflow of Llyn Cwm Silyn Isaf. Crossed with some difficulty over a loose stone wall. Then a steep ascent up in deep heather to the summit plateau, the going a little easier further up. Visited various boulders as possible HPs. Descended towards outflow of Llyn Cwm Silyn Uchaf - a bad mistake! This was ankle-breaking territory, with high heather, deep hidden holes and boulder fields. Don't go that way! Eventually reached the outflow, crossed easily, and took a faint path up past a ruin to re-join the grassy track back down to the car. Do not underestimate the roughness of this un-prepossessing hill, but with good views! | Man of Kernow1 | 10/04/2021 |

Track from road end to west - parking permitted -and then slog up heathery, bouldery slopes. Crossing stream at northern outfall is best route up - which I didn't use. | chriswatson | 09/07/2018 |

Waunfawr to Penygroes. Summit terrain very slow going and my approach from Talysarn via mapped ROWs & Access Land was awkward & laborious until hitting the main path to Cwm Silyn. | Smudge | 26/11/2016 |
