Parked on a patch of concrete by the river at 97338 14269, up the road a short way, continued north along track then zig-zagged up forest track round to the north where there was a vague path and the trees were not too dense. | clivevilla | 30/03/2024 |
From Pen y Coed - asked permission to park at the farm, which was granted. Took the bridleway north through fields into the Dyfnant Forest, then forest road west. Found a bit of a track from the north side up to the un-marked summit. Warning: the hill has been re-planted, and the conifers are growing fast. With MP, on a hill survey. | Man of Kernow1 | 19/11/2019 |

From previous hill (Cownwy). Drove to foot of this one too. Felt a bit like Gwyndaf Evans pootling about the forests today. Be aware of your car underside catching on the tracks though where theres ruts.
This summit has now been clear felled. So an absolute doddle. Good views too. | stig_nest | 13/05/2016 |

c/w circuit from SH955163 via M Coch not recommended. Forest roads good, as is b/w to W via ruined farmstead. fairly open plantation, but a fair few fallen trees | RHW | 25/05/2007 |
