As part of a circular from Rhydycroesau. Murky views from the top todaygreboicus16/09/2023
Steeply up the SE slope from the road. Wide levelish ridge of fields of Sheep pasture with high point at W end. High point has a tree in tall iron railing enclosure decorated with Tibetan prayer flags. Also visited the E Top in the conifer plantation.RichardM09/01/2020
Parked on grass verge between 2 farm gates on crossroads at 224307 - NE up green lane to farm gate - Over gate & then pleasant walk W. along ridge to unmarked summit which lies by an ancient hawthorn on low banking. Farm gates; no fences to cross. (S)gerrybowes09/01/2019
From crossroads to ESE. No path but pasture and obvious route.clivevilla21/11/2018
From spot 359. Rain started but mist made the view all the more dramatic.Wycombe Wanderer06/09/2018

Completed along with Craig Yr Hwch, Pen y Gwely and Foel Rhiwlas. Nice enough hill that, along with the gyrn, dominates the landscape north of Llansilin. Harder walk coming from the north side. Would be nice to couple with Coed y Bwlch. Lots of dead sheep on this hill.tumpawumpa01/09/2016
From pt 358m. A rapid and easy ascent across sheepie fields 1 gate to climb and 1 fence to cross. The forestry bloc which is on the top of the hill isnt marked on my explorer map. Icy wind but otherwise fine. Superb views as is the case on a lot of the hills in these parts.stig_nest24/04/2016
