2nd tump of 5 on an 18km circuit from Padarn country park, after Pen Y Bigil I headed North to reach footpaths and then Deiniolen, stopping for coffee in the community centre. Continuing up a track to reach a huge gate barring access to the open access land. I managed to open one side and squeeze through. Straightforward climb to the top and lovely views. Onwards to Moel Y Ci... | Dazingdale | 26/09/2023 |

Parked in Rhiwlas & up Moel y Ci & Parc Drysgol. From Parc Drysgol, continued SW on path to a wind shelter; path then bears right & down to path junction on bwlch - Straight across & up to collapsed wall; path then continues up through heather to summit cairn. Paths & tracks back to Rhiwlas. | gerrybowes | 21/01/2023 |
Moel Rhiwen & Parc Drysgol with Rufus from Deiniolen. Parked on grass verge at SH 57896 63677 and walked SW down road for short distance to minor road heading back NE. Aimed to gain access land using a marked track from the road but the track was blocked with a high wooden gate and locked with reinforced fences either side. Climbed over crumbling wall and fence 20m to left instead. Followed track through first pasture with a pony in residence and through a gate. Once level with the summit, ascended directly to high point. Walked directly east to the summit of Parc Drysgol over a dry stone wall and returned the same way. | jacobrichmond | 10/11/2022 |
Straight heathery path from Parc Drysgol . | Mark Sims | 01/09/2022 |
From Parc Drysgol on faint path through heather. Decended SE on ancient track over locked gate on access land at 577638. Took path W then N round edge of access land. Don't do late summer due to dense ferns. Escaped thru old gate into woods nr homestead. | KeithByTheC | 12/08/2022 |
From Rhiwlas, with AT and JT. Took the lane NE to Tynllidiart, then track around hill to a gate, then steep path up to the trig, not marked on map. Continued to traverse three possible HPs. Then descended to Pen y Bwlch Farm, taking the road around to Ffridd Uchaf, to avoid barbed wire. Then RoW to bwlch between hills, tackling Moel Rhiwen and then Parc Drysgol. Then descended back to Rhiwen via Maes-meddygon back to Rhiwlas. 11.0km, with 550m of ascent. | Man of Kernow1 | 11/06/2022 |

From Parc Drysol, through lots of heather. Excellent views over coastal flats to Anglesey. I followed the wall south of Parc Drysgol on the return and managed to avoid most of the heather | Colin Crawford | 08/10/2021 |

7 of us (18 yr olds) staying in a friend's nearby holiday cottage squashed into one friend's car (a rarity at the time for 18 yr olds to have a car) and aimed for this hill. Despite its lowly height only 3 of us maintained the resolve to make it to the top. | Chris Pearson | 28/02/1981 |
