Parked at start of lane leading to Lake Hill fishery (Friday evening, gate locked). Track to fishery (anglers' cars still there) then continued to trig - which has a knotted rope to assist for last few feet!!Aye Jimmy17/11/2017
Parked in the fishery and grabbed a few caches and then the trigpoint, great views on a lovely sunny day, hoped to grab a wee bite to eat at the cafe but it was shut by the time we got back down to the car.thejackrustles05/08/2016
Parked to North at end of bridleway 216551(space for a couple of cars),back along road to bend then up footpath to Llyn Cyfynwy. From dam clear and obvious path to trig point.Rob5027/03/2016
Parked in lay-by on A 5104 at SJ 20832 52584. Took road (grass verge) NE for about 200m, turning onto disused RoW opposite Ty-uchaf. Followed this down to lane to Bod Idris Hotel, crossing it to follow a grit track up to a gate and stile. Then continued on a grassy path up to join the track up to Llyn Cyfynwy. Another track, beginning by the lake, took me almost to the summit. To descend, headed south down through heather and bracken to a track, then over a gate to rejoin my outward route. No barbed wire fences to tackle by this route. Solo.marktrengove28/12/2015
