If you come out of Coed Cwm-mynach on the miner's track as if heading for Diffwys, and turn south there is a reasonable sheep track which keeps tight to the forestry fence. On reaching a stone-wall follow this southwest for 100m or so to a ladder stile and cross the wall. Up to this point quite easy, the last 200m or so are proper Rhinogs! | TK | 05/07/2019 |
Rough and slow going from Clogau to South- slithery slabs, rocky ribs, boggy moss, walls and knee high heather. Rewarded by a small cairn and nice views in sunny weather. Onward to Diffwys. | Denise | 17/02/2018 |
From SSW, Llechfraith, parked by phone box, up road then track (RoW) thru farm. Kept to S side of wall, v rough ascent betraying its Rhinog parentage. Back via S ridge crossing 2 rocky tops en route, Clogau then down. | RHW | 23/11/2014 |
