From Three Arch Bridge. 13 km, 780 m asc. NW across boggy ground to Loch an t-Siob' and continuing across the S slopes of Bein Shiantaidh to the col Imir an Aonaich. N up the ramp path and SW to the summit trig point and shelter cairn. Mild and very misty, occasional gusts. Couldn't have done it without Grant from Jura Guided. https://www.flickr.com/photos/samandjo/albums/72177720302830456SalmonJoe25/09/2022

On path from Three Arch Bridge. Across stepping stones at east end of Loch an t-Siob. Left path to climb to col with Beinn Shiantaidh, then up obvious path and grassy rake to sandstone block, which avoided most of the scree. Rocky summit ridge. KeithByTheC25/04/2022

Anti-clockwise circuit of The Paps with Gavin. Unusual walled path to the summit trig point. Great views for 360 degrees. Exciting path down the south ridge.Dangerous Dave01/08/2021

On RBS HWC Islay weekend. Although I walked alone I found Mark and Jim P on the summit as well as Kenny and Derek. This was more straightforward than the Graham Beinn Shiantaidh. The drop to the next Graham looked substantial so I returned by my outward route.langskill19/06/2021

Superb Paps hill walk. Initially with Bolton & CJM, then with CJM to Beinn Shiantaidh, Beinn an Oir & Beinn a'Chaolais. Fine weather - a superb walk over fantastic quartzite hills.ger13/09/2019
From the bridge at 545720. Ger and CM headed up to Beinn Shiantaidh while I followed the path on the north side of Lochan t-Siob (Adders are about!) up to the col and then the diagonal rake to the north side before the summit. Blue skies, sunny and a breeze! Headed to Beinn a'Chaolais.bolton13/09/2019

Round of Corrabheinn, Shiantaidh and Oir from start of Evans path. From the Shiantaidh col, Oir is easily climbed on a gentle path that goes left, then right up a broad ledge and steep but comfortable grass rake that extends up to the main summit ridge, from where it is a short and easy sloped scree to the summit. A high return route from col to start, led into tussocks and long grass, a descent to Loch Siob would have been better.Topographer5711/06/2019
