after Pen Dolbelydr followed track to Dolddinas, boots off and waded across Afon Llafar then track E to gate, then directly uphill. Retraced path to river then took fp S from Dolddinas to old railway line and the permissive path that runs along it back to car | Rob50 | 25/07/2023 |
With Rufus from lay-by on A4212 at entrance and ROW leading to Bryn Celynog. ROW past farm up to main house, followed around left and continued on ROW to old railway. Under bridge, still on ROW, and on to Llyn Hiraethlyn. Past Llyn and through gate on left to steep boggy summit slope. Lovely boggy spot! | jacobrichmond | 21/11/2022 |

From parking at 709389 round of Pen Llyn Hiraethlyn, Moel y Croesau, Graig Wen and Foel Fawr. Good track most of the way to Pen Llyn Hiraethlyn then largely pathless. About 7 miles/3 hours. | clivevilla | 23/07/2018 |
Layby to south on A4212 then fp through farm and across wet tussocky ground. Thundery to the E, Rhinogs in the clear. Rather a bleak feel to the place today. | Herbert Anchovy | 27/05/2018 |
