Up the steep south ridge going NW towards Glascwm then clokwise circuit east and southvegibagger11/06/2022
Parked on minor road to south, half on verge, on a straight section just west of Ty'n y Coed and went up the track and then off piste to Creigiau Dwyfron bagging Tarren Fach on the way back down.clivevilla05/04/2018
I dont think there is an easy route up Foel Benddin from Dinas Mawddwy. The Wood north west of Dinas Mawddwy now extends almost to the western edge of the access land. Just really steep and rough this way. Excellent ridge to Y Gribin and good track down to the north east. Took the low path south below Pen yr Allt Isaf then north up the valley to Creigiau Dwyfron. Don't do it. Horrible route. Descent south via Tarren Fach is easy and no access issues to Tarren Fach although not access land. First part of river walk back to Dinas Mawddwy had fantastic bluebells. Among the best I've seen.ijpowell11/05/2017
From Creigiau Dwyfron. No issues coming from higher ground. The path/track marked on OS is sketchy higher up but becomes very good lower down. Summit affords decent views with Glasgwm looking brutish. Hummock nearby gives better view along valley. Descent past farmhouse of Nantynodyn which appears to be a permissive route. No one about to challenge me at any rate.stig_nest21/09/2016
From NW, permissive track to access land. First did 557m Pen yr Allt Isaf on Gilham's list then this on way down.RHW22/11/2014
