From free Precipice Walk carpark to NE and followed paths through trees to grassy clearing with domestic TV aerial. Summit is a grassy knoll.descended SW on path to reservoir pumping station. Lake like a millpond on lovely clear frosty day with some swirling cloud. Onto Foel Faner.Denise 13/01/2022

With Jenx and Bryher from standard car park for Precipice Walk. Cut up from path at first opportunity and direct to top cairn. Damage caused by last years fire very evident. On to Iron Age fort Tump and another on way backnordicstar06/04/2019

From Precipice Walk Car Park. Only had enough daylight to climb Fedw Felen using the Precipice Walk and then ascending a path on the fence on the crest of the ridge from the north.clivevilla11/12/2018
Start from Precipice Walk car park: Foel Cynwch - Foel Faner - Fedw Felen. Probably better to rejoin Precipice Walk path rather than follow ridge to Foel Faner. Fedw Faner hillside covered with bluebells.RobertP07/05/2017

from Precipice walk footpath, north end of wood basically along the fence line, pleasant woodland walk. Once passed aerial barbed wire fence to cross then down to pumping station. Continued with walk round lake to take in other tump and hump.Rob5023/11/2016
