Parked in Marian Cwm and used Offas Dyke Path to climb Marian Ffrith and take me half way to Y Foel before making it up as I went along. Y Foel is quite well defended by gorse and rocky outcrops but no problem finding a route through. Decended to road and walked back that way.clivevilla28/03/2018

Continuation of walk from Y Foel. Descended steeply east, avoiding crags, over one barbed wire fence and two gates to reach Offa's Dyke Path. Followed this past farm and up through sheep pasture to the summit. Then descended to Marian Cwm hamlet and took lanes round to Church Wood, and thence back into Cwm. An excellent varied walk.
