Wet day, but cabin fever set in by 1400 hrs and Pete and I drove to SH647180 and followed zig-zag path through Woodland Trust woods to the fine viewpoint with bench on a little, open ridge. This, we thought would be enough as there was no way to the HP from here and the ROW looked unappealing, through a tangle of rhododendrons. As we finished, sunshine through the open woodland decided us to drive to Goetre, park at SH 6387 1845 (space for 2 or 3 cars) and walk through the lovely garden on the ROW to a jct. at est. SH 641182 where a grassy track turned uphill to a bench and summit area. Last few metres crashing about woodland/undergrowth to attain HP.pwheeler14/09/2018
From phone box to west near 641187. There is a path which starts by going between two houses and is sporadically marked. I kept going uphill and found the top fairly easily. I was expecting the top to be worse but maybe, as it is December, the worst has died back.clivevilla06/12/2017
From SH647180. Followed zig-zag path through Woodland Trust woods to the viewpoint (nice) with bench. However, it was then an awful fight to reach the HP. Better approach via SH641182. Several possible HPs each within 100m, if you can be bothered to thrash about - doggedly/stupidly visited them all.summitsup11/06/2017
From east, good paths all the way with hp a few m to N in birches. With AdrianRHW21/08/2016
