From the W on bridleway which crosses the summit. (Not much eviedence of the bridleway on the ground.) Hedge crosses summit and high point. Cultivated pasture with sheep. Buried water tank on NW side of hedge. Field on SE side of hedge is 15cm higher by Abney.
Gorgeous sunshine very clear views | RichardM | 15/10/2023 |
By fence/ hedge in grassy sheep pasture. Lovely deciduous woods to wander in with paths not quite as mapped ( it’s Wales!). Still very green. Continued south to Pen Pentre. | Denise | 15/10/2023 |
Parked at 10988 11184, up on a path through woods and then a short cut across a brambly bit to the summit pasture | clivevilla | 20/08/2020 |
From w, parking just inside wood at gate. Path a little brambly. Hedge crosses pasture summit, hp by water tank. | RHW | 26/03/2017 |
Had intended an afternoon ramble on Cefn Dreiniog but thwarted by a shooting party. Pleasant walk through the woods from SJ113100 then rarely used path crossing pasture and passing house at Pen-y-ffridd. | summitsup | 24/09/2016 |
From staggered xroad west drove down the tarmac bridleway and at fork took left to parking area in forestry. Tried following the marked path but becomes somewhat overgrown. Its passable but I returned via the farm track. A very dull top. Theres a large embedded stone alongside the hedgerow and thats probably the top. 6th of 15 today. | stig_nest | 11/05/2016 |
