easy park ne sh 7962 5425 then > clogwyn brith track to 7914 5425 then ne to summit return north east then south west avoiding nasty cliff/clogwyn north west of top to hair pin tracks to 7879 5502 mynydd bychan 200 m thrash to top some crawling needed note survey tape markers area due to be felled return same way and tracks to start 10.5 ks | underhill | 06/12/2023 |
From parking at start of forest track to NE, up Mynydd-bychan. From M-b, back down to forest track & junction at 788548 - Forest tracks S & then E. to hairpin bend & then up through fairly open woodland, steep in places, to the mossy summit knoll. Bracken & bramble not much of a problem this time of year; windfall on final approach to summit a bit awkward. Back down to hairpin & anticlockwise on track back to car. | gerrybowes | 05/02/2023 |

Started at road by railway bridge and followed the track clockwise around hill to hairpin at SH 79136 54467. Went directly east towards summit crossing a ruined wall then steeply up to overgrown plateau. Interesting detour from the tracks but no view! | jacobrichmond | 28/12/2019 |
Over railway bridge by Giants Head. Footpath non existant so an uninteresting slog to a an uninteresting top. | jrj | 14/12/2017 |
