| We approach from the SW but missed the bridleway. Instead we continue N along the lane until due W of the summit then cross the low strand of barbed wire and follow path beside wall through bracken and old quarry workings to the high point. While at the summit a friendly man in garden to the N asks if we are OK and explains how to find the bridleway. (You need to go through the Rock Cottage gate and as the track bends left the bridleway is behind you - look for large white arrows) | RichardM | 30/01/2022 |
