Parked in the layby at 68119 40709, up the track opposite through a field of cows with one bull too. Up to the ridge then worked my way across with fences and rough terrain. Decided to try a more direct route down but that was worse through steep brambly woods. | clivevilla | 29/09/2023 |

Direct approach from the south. Parking not ideal and very boggy in several places. I sank up to my knees a couple of times. Had previously tried to come up from the SE. Met a very friendly landowner who was happy for me to cross his land but reeled off a list of challenging obstacles and suggested going through his neighbour's land instead, which I did. From the summit it looked like an approach from the SE might have been better after all. The track shown to the south of the summit no longer exists in any meaningful sense, having been abandoned to nature. | Herbert Anchovy | 27/10/2017 |
Met farmer on the hill top after stealth approach through the trees. Did not receive a welcome. | Alex C | 24/06/2017 |
From NE, track, felled forest, pasture, N summit with rock slab, S summit with cairn presumably higher, looked similar. Drizzly breezy morning. | RHW | 10/06/2017 |
Walked from Gellilydan. Small cairn by summit. | Adrian | 15/11/2015 |
