From good path ( with gate) to SW , through vegetation then grassy pasture. Limestone ridge. HP is outcrop by trig. Good views east. Steep gorsy cliffs west and woods east. Several grass verges to west where you can park briefly . | Denise | 17/11/2023 |
From the SE. Good track starting on W side of road junction follows top of limestone crag - possibly quarried - all the way to the summit. Track seems well used by locals. Open grassy summit with trig pillar. High point embedded limestone rock 1m from trig. Harebell. Good view SW. | RichardM | 17/11/2023 |
As gerrybowes. Had been putting this off due to previous mention of unfriendly signs but I didn't see any. Shame it isn't open access as it is a lovely little hill & wood. My last Denbighshire top. | TK | 09/10/2023 |
As gerrybowes. Pleasant hill. | clivevilla | 31/01/2023 |
As Rob50, parked by junction at SJ 0121 7203 - SE along lane & shortly before junction up well-used path & then track to summit rock by trig point. A fair bit of exposed limestone & open woodland made for an enjoyable short walk. | gerrybowes | 13/04/2022 |
Mmm, high velocity rifles, makes it sound like entering Ukraine.I survived. | Martin R | 10/03/2022 |

First fresh log this year.. poor show! Bus to Bodelwyddan, walk to Bontnewydd including trig of course, got lift back. In caves nearby, remains of ancient man from 225,000 years ago has been found! Must visit them at some point.. Forgot camera, so no photos :( | mattcymru | 02/11/2016 |
