Roadside, trig pillar on a field bank. | Tony Hartry | 29/09/2021 |
Coming from Menau Bridge, past pili palas, head for Penmynydd and make a right turn towards the radio mast looking thing. We parked on a patch of grass near a farm and walked up the road to the mast where the summit is. Then a little furth along the road is a trig point and a bench. It's just to tick off, there's not much to see or do. | Skarletk | 25/08/2021 |
1st Tump of 11 today. I dropped off Lesley at Red Wharf Bay then headed to the Trigpoint via Pentraeth and Rhoscefnhir. I also visited the field for a more natural high point. I then continued to the alt. top and ot a higher reading; rubble has been piled on top of the natural high point, a mound just off the road, Wnw of Penmynydd. Onwards to Bron Alar... | Dazingdale | 17/07/2019 |

Of course, there's room to park next to the trig at a track entrance but I made a 'walk' out of it by parking at another track entrance c70m SW. Alternative summit c800m WSW at SH 50682 74560 is natural rock outcrop amongst piles of quarried stones. This could be as high. Impossible to Abney but altimeter showing exact same height for both locations. (No Lidar) | David Gradwell | 01/06/2017 |
Short climb up from the road. | Herbert Anchovy | 16/02/2017 |
Incredibly, for such a pathetic top,you have to use your hands to get on to the trig plinth! | clivevilla | 02/10/2016 |
I can't remember if we found this due to Sat Nav woman having her nervous breakdown or due to a diversion but it was any easy roadside bag. The geocache took much longer. | thejackrustles | 04/08/2016 |
Easy bag with Paul Webster. | Dugswell2 | 15/08/2015 |
