From the south, through the gate and right straight up the hill. Best done in winter to avoid dense bracken. Great summit views.BaggerGutt04/12/2023
From the pull in by the bridge, as others. Vague path at first, soon vanishing in high bracken. yet summit area not too difficult to reach and well worthwhile when I got there. Complex terrain with several candidates for high point, all visitedColin Crawford09/10/2021
With Rufus from the S end of the bridge. Went though gate on left and directly up the first track - path fizzled out after a while and had shoulder high bracken and some steep edges to go around but summit didn’t take long to get to. Descended N to the river edge which was a mistake as there was no easy way through the bracken and gorse, would’ve been much easier returning the same way. Quite pleasant once on the river edge though.jacobrichmond03/09/2021

As per HA, steep start. 3 summit candidates, with boulder to NE probably higher, although looks lower due to higher hills behind.RHW20/08/2016

Parked at end of bridge WNW of summit. Faint paths through bracken. Several lumps near the top, one covered in low gorse seemed highest.Herbert Anchovy31/10/2015
