From Rhiwlas to south. No parking in the lane so parked in the large lay by on main road. South Top, South West Top and Caer Mawr. Grass tracks make for fast walking. Lovely morning with temperature inversion. Delightful area.Campbell Singer22/04/2023

Up the quarry track then footpath to Caer Fawr, taking a re-route around Maengowan Farm due to Covid-19 request from owner. From here a clockwise circuit of Carneddau South Top, SW Top, Main Top and SE Top, returning along the main footpath through these lovely and easy underfoot hills.summitter17/09/2020

Climbed from the Cwm Berwyn footpath (to the north east). Stunning views and a marvellous summit even though it has neither the trig point or the highest point, this feels like the summit of the Radnorshire Carneddau.Rob Rees04/12/2019
Parked at SO 08142 53964 on the bend on the verge on the minor road. Did a circuit of Carneddau SE Top, Carneddau S Top, Carneddau SW Top and Caer Fawr. About 1 hour 45 mins. All fairly straightforward with no difficulties.clivevilla05/03/2019
