From track NJ 277 374. Forestry work currently ongoing and the middle track of three littered with tree trunks and branches - passable with care. On return dropped down to lower (more northerly) track which was free of debriscarole engel25/10/2018

10 mile walk from Glack Harnes, walked along road then climbed up hillside to dead end lane, followed this into woods and followed another forest track to Glack-en-Ronack, steeply climbed up onto Little Conval and visited trig further on, we descended the same way then climbed up slightly less taxing Meikle Conval, then descended very steeply to car, then climbed big trail onto Ben Rinnes just as the cloud left its summit so we got the view, descended the same way just as Ben Rinnes went into cloud. Very dry underfoot at the minute even on the Convals.DanTrig11/06/2018

From Dufftown Golf Club CP. Course closed due to snow and ice so empty. Cut round bottom of course, across stile and direct to gate on track leading to col. Up Meikle Conval first using snow filled path, then down and up Little Conval, an easier top even if the trig lies out on a limb. Back same way having done the two in just over two hours.nordicstar17/01/2016
