Parked at the road bend above the dam (SN 909 871). Began on Glyndwr's Way, diverting to climb the south ridge to the summit (with picnic table), avoiding the barbed wire fence. Returned south on the permissive path to the lane, and thence back to the car. With AW.Man of Kernow111/09/2016

On 1/5/2005 between thunderstorms. Fron Tycoch, along the shore of Llyn Clywedog to the tip of a peninsula then along the ridge to this summit. Excellent views- the lake, the excellent fort of Pen y Gaer (also visited today) and mountainous clouds. With Pete.pwheeler01/05/2005
