From RoW to east, up sheep pasture. HP is SE of field junction and S of fence. Murky views today. Nice ascent from S through oak woods. At roadside are the huge ruins of an HEP station built 1899 to supply electricity to reopen the mines, fed by the lakes near this tump. Curiously, this ultimately unsuccessful project was led by Belgians- no idea how they became interested in Wales? | Denise | 07/10/2020 |
From the ENE starting at bend in byway, field gates through sheep pasture all the way. High point on S side of fence line. Grey views | RichardM | 07/10/2020 |
