Buses from Fife to Aberdeen, then the 10 service to just beyond Colpy, N. of the hill. Easy ascent via tracks, walk back to Colpy.BasherBob06/11/2023
Good track from parking area near Upper Lenchie. Back same way. Solo.Dangerous Dave02/10/2023
Plenty of parking space alongside the forestry track W of Upper Lenchie. A simple track-walk to the top of Hill of Foudland, with a wee detour along an ATV track to bag Red Hill and its superbly made cairns. Lot's of new tree planting across this hill so the landscape is likely to change in the forthcoming years.summitter28/09/2023

Parked by the side of a track 200m before the public road end at Jerico. Cycled up the track past the masts. New tree planting on the north side if the track. Carried on to descend the track to Lenchie. More new tree planting and a deer fence with padlocked gate to cross.andy macp30/04/2022
Dropped off at Jericho (end of public road), then walked along tracks and up past masts to summit, return the same way. There is room to park a few cars at ca NJ627334 (where a forest track comes in from NE) and at NJ623337, but the track up is narrow and occasionally steep.kdbennett30/05/2021
20 mins non stop running ascent on easy stony track from Lenchie. (2k 160m) Why run? 3 reasons. 1) I had forgotten a cag and blustery rain showers lurking 2) After school dopamine recovery burst needed. 3) OMM less than 2 months away - need to practice for those dreaded runnable inclines. Sweeping views of sweeping showers - but luckily not here. Added Red Hill sub -Tump for little extra effort on descent detour. 47 mins round trip. Foudland is one of the local slate hills - providing roofing slates. (lots of evidence of former small quarry pits and tips -one still active with diggers parked up for the weekend). The slate was formed by the melting and pressure of the existing rocks by the Insch igneous pluton pushing up to the S. Quarrying died out when the railways arrived with better quality slate available from Wales - which seems a heck of journey.Chris Pearson04/09/2020
From Lenchie with Brian R. Saw the optical illusion of the east top being higher!Play2End30/08/2020
ESE along track from Bog, then WSW up track to aerials and on to the trig point.Winterfloodian21/08/2020
May weekend... sleet!sarahk08/05/2020
Parked at the farm at Bog then just followed the left track to the aerial access track, up from there before the final section beyond the aerials to the trig. Great views again. Care needed on the return due to ice.Peterb13/11/2019
Walked up path from Colpy on track which passed transmitter masts before reaching TP at summit. Track off western end runs into an area where it is ill defined.Buteobuteo28/05/2019
Parked at Bog, NJ611344. Along track ESE to NJ623338, then up track WSW. Just before trees, a sign bearing three words 'Foudland Hill Private'.Isbjorn24/05/2019
Here for the trigpoint. TP:UK log: 3 for 1, trig, Marilyn and geocache. Been on the to do list far too many times but always knew it would take up more of the day than I would like. So today was the day to do it as it is one of only 2 remaining Aberdeenshire trigs I have to bag. Walked up track from Jericho past the masts. Very good track. Bright but wind today. Glad I kept Robbie on the lead as we spooked a deer at the geocache.thejackrustles28/12/2018

Solo trip from the farm at Bog. Went steeply up the north side in between old slate workings. I would not recommend this - it's quick but the heather is deep.Invicta1422/08/2018
Cycled up track from Colpy as far as my hybrid bike would allow, then on foot across past masts to the top. Clear, hot day.mcbboyd27/07/2018
An extremely easy walk on a track all the way. Fed up with wasting tyre rubber by off-roading, so I parked by Bog Farm, and walked along the track, then up the washed out mast road. Pleasant walk across a heather moor. Marilyn number 1056; only 500 to go now!Gill21/07/2018
Up the now overgrown Lenchie track, down via Colpy.Chris Peart21/05/2018
Enjoyable walk from Colpy village to 168m spot height and then followed good track up to trig via the maststrimarc220/05/2018
P by Colpy Farm. Walked along road past Jericho then good track W to summit.ger21/04/2018
Drove past Jericho to high point of track. After bagging summit, drove out past Bog: this is a much better track than via Jericho. 7th of 7 today, on a lovely sunny day: Ben Aidan, Knockan, Meikle Balloch, Knock Hill, Fourman Hill, Hill of Tillymorgan, Hill of Foudland.PGCE20/02/2018
Up the track from the east to a spectacular sunset.vegibagger27/10/2017

The road was blocked up from Jericho so headed round to Bog. Good parking there. Took the good track SE then west to the summit. Solo walk in 90 minutes. Windy and mist high up.bolton08/02/2017
A disappointing day was expecting a good view off the top.Nozzer01/02/2017

As dbb. Drove in via Bog, except continued through one closed gate to 623338, just before 2nd shut gate, and parked on grass. LARGE parking area 50m past gate. Followed good tracks to masts, and poorer track to trig.Minto14/11/2015
After Hill of Tillymorgan. This is the better of the twohillsman28/09/2015
There wasn't really space to abandon the van at Jericho, but Husband doesn't mind loitering whilst I walk. Quick and easy outing. Route and write-up at: http://gayleybird.blogspot.co.uk/2015/08/hill-of-tillymorgan-hill-of-foudland.htmlGayle27/08/2015
Drove past Bog and parked about 622339 (16:50). Followed track up ridge past mast to top (17:20); notice said private land. Pleasant evening; good views of farmland and low hills around. Car 17:50.dbb21/05/2015

Solo. I parked at a bend in the road close to a farmhouse called Bog on the N side of the hill. Followed a track going ESE, which has all the signs of being an old road, and then the track to the masts and a fainter track thereafter to the summit.pwbellarby03/04/2009
