Logged Descriptions  (logged by 15 users)ByDate of Ascent
First hill of a pleasant circuit with Iain and R; no sign of any military activity but we kept a look out for and saw ordnance on the ground. From Carpark to NE, mainly on tarmac road; tussocky grass for final short section.Denise 03/01/2019
From the NE along paved road and finally rough frosted grass to summit tumulus topped by trig point. First of a fine day out with Denise and Iain.RichardM03/01/2019
From red kite viewing area (SN 9633 4671). Range quiet. Public RoW shown on map, but not much on the ground. HP at a saucer barrow with trig pilla atop. With Douglas, Alex, Adrian and Tony J. On to Twyn Rhyd-car and the S Top for a 17k romp over some rough and boggy ground. Military paraphernalia abounds.jonglew30/12/2017
Parked at viewpoint car park then used RoW from B4519 towards Pen Tri Chrugiau but very little to follow and would have been better on the military road. Then long sensible way round to Twyn Rhyd-car and then to Twyn Rhyd-car South Top before return over damp moorland to Mynydd Epynt and then B4519.Dugswell230/12/2017
