On a non firing day, although some red flags were flying but not all.
From the view point car park along track and up by trees. On to Pen Cae’r mynach before heading back across road to do others on range. | PeterD | 19/02/2023 |
Parked at the viewpoint. A non firing day according to Firing Range website. Easy bag from the Heart of Wales Line Trail. Pity about the grey weather. | Campbell Singer | 04/02/2023 |
A quick dash up Mynydd Eppynt and The Warren from the convenient parking area at the highest point of the road. The red flags were still flying, but according to the government website firing had finished half an hour before, so I felt safe - mostly! | Mark Jackson | 28/10/2022 |
I was a little confused as I had checked that it was not a firing day but the red flags were flying. A contractor in a land rover stopped and explained that it was fine and that the red flags always fly. Parked at 96678 47385 and walked in along the road tp Pen Cae'r Mynach and The Warren on the way back. | clivevilla | 11/08/2021 |
