Wander up the golf course. What seemed like to top on the golf course ~overtopped by a strange flat torres topped hill over to west just across the golf fairway just outside boundaries. Turned out to be an amazing buried small twelve sized vaulted Chapel building. Remarkablevegibagger20/06/2022

A filthy Easter Monday. Consequently, not a golfer in sight. Parked at the Brecon Railway cp and walked over the empty course to both summits. Agree with jonglew that the castle remains are the more worthy top.Campbell Singer02/04/2018
Parked at rd junc S edge of disused quarry. Over field gate into quarry, followed a track up the side to obvious HP... which turned out to be the crypt of Morlais Castle. Morlais Hil HP is 190m due W, across one of the fairways of Morlais Castle GC. The castle remains, overlooking the quary, is a far finer HP!jonglew08/09/2016
Entered quarry by gate and then followed path immediately right above the quarry and followed edge to the castle top. A couple of stiles gave access to the golf course and the extensive rough between two fairways.PeterD31/07/2016
Up through golf course at weekend and middle of the day. Few golfers around so no difficulties.Jemma Singer22/05/2016
Walked up through golf course. Nobody about at 07.00 apart from one employee.Dusty10/05/2015
From SSW, up thru quarry keeping R of main cliff (can make a circuit). Natural HP in rough mid golf course, overtopped by Morlais Castle mound (fine vaulted crypt). Caught by a snow squall at summit.RHW31/01/2015
walked from trefechan, a hill that's been extensively quarried, the high point is rough pasture in the middle of a golf course, also visited the highest point which is above a vault on the remains of the castle.hodder03/09/2014
