From road end to east at Cwmcerwyn. Followed tracks then easily through mature pine to unmarked summit by path. Both level and lumpy . Continued south to Margham . Very wet, heavy rain. | Denise | 17/02/2024 |
From Cwmcerwyn to the E. Forest track and then through the tall trees of mature forest, a little brambly in places. Highpoint unmarked on low earth bank at edge of trees ~15m from forest track. Raining. No view | RichardM | 17/02/2024 |
From Bryn and via Moelfre y galllt y cwm. Just off the forestry track. | Campbell Singer | 05/09/2020 |
Parked at 84514 88317, up track then veered off right towards forest corner, along edge of forest before a left turn along a treeless routs and then a shortish but awful off piste to summit of Mynydd Margam. Back to forest corner and easy forest tracks to Mynydd Bach then retraced steps back to car. A couple of mounds obviously man made at summit of Mynedd Bach but did all likely alternatives. | clivevilla | 23/09/2018 |
From Mynydd Margam after ascent from Cwm Sychbant to east.
Tree felling in progress at the top making everything a mess. HP mound just south of track and logs. | PeterD | 19/08/2017 |
Walked up from Bryn, mostly wide forest vehicle tracks. Small mound 5m S side track, just into trees, seemed to be highest point. | jonglew | 09/02/2017 |
As Dusty, locked gate at Bryn to nw, drizzly easy start to hopefully drier day. Summit in open spruce S side of track 100m beyond stone commemorating inauguration of forest by the then Princess Elizabeth in June 1953 Planned from ne as have driven in that way before but closed for construction works, even to pedestrians. | RHW | 16/07/2016 |
Followed forest tracks and footpaths from Bryn. Past Commemorative Stone and spot height just south of track. Looked both sides of track for highest point but seems to be much of a muchness. | Dusty | 09/04/2015 |
