4 of 7 Parking in lay-by/roadside on the b4558 close to the bridge. After drostre bank | The-Z-Man | 02/08/2023 |
Linear hike to the trig point which is located on the remains of an Iron Age fort. Had to ask permission first from the landowner of Penyrallt Farm. Parking: Plenty of parking on grass verge by the 'yellow road'. | manilena | 26/06/2023 |
Also visited 300m contour to the west which is almost as high. | Adrian | 13/10/2020 |
Mountain biked up from home. Walked in from common to the north. 2 gates. Fantastic views over to the Blacks and Beacons. | Rob Rees | 20/11/2019 |
From minor road to north. Good parking on common which was covered in masses of wild flowers. Lamb bleeding incessantly near top. Head caught in a fence. Tried freeing it by pulling. Unsuccessful. Bent the wire square to fit the lamb's head better. Success. It ran off without a thank you and I felt it was suggesting to the flock that I had been the instigator rather than the rescuer. Nevertheless, a delightful place to be on a Spring morning. | Campbell Singer | 30/05/2019 |
