From Baile Ailein, good parking behind bus stop by sheep pens at 271203. Along track and Hebridean Way to 251204 and up E of grassy area of old shieling, Airigh a'Mhula, finding ATV track and then a very nice old path to the shieling at 247206. Rising traverse to the main hill ridge, using good deer tracks and a bit of ATV track. Fine summit views. Despite many days of heavy rain, the going was firm and surprisingly dry, quite an easy walk.Gill15/04/2024
From Ceann Tarabhaigh I took the ATV track that goes over to Loch Langavat, cutting over to Roineval just before the high point. Back via Hestaval and Sleiteachal Mhor.Chris Peart07/06/2023
From Sleteachal Mhor. Over Heastabhal. Rather boggy around the low col but no real difficulty. Descended south, initially on the east side of Allt a' Moa, then west of Lon Heastabhal, to the Hebridean Way and back to Ceann Tarabhaigh.Owen B27/05/2023
Parked just before the turn to north Pairc. Along the track/ path of the Hebridean Way. Shortly before bridge rising traverse linking various green shiellings and ATV track to pick up south ridge. Fine weather with occasional short light showers.N.Morters16/09/2022

Round of Roineval, Heastabhal and Sleteachal from Ceann Tarabhaigh (good parking). Direct line up by burn to Roineval. Wintry showers but reasonably dry underfoot and mostly a good walking surface helped by occasional ATV tracks.AndrewFinnimore06/05/2019
From bend in road to SE. Sleteachal Mhor, Heastabhal & Roineabhal. With PM.CJM19/07/2018
Sleiteachal Mhor, Heastabhal and to the col before heading NW to the summit with CM. On returning to the car at 230174 a track can be picked up around 227195 which makes the going very easy. Just over 4 hours and 7 miles.bolton19/07/2018
Parked at Ceann Tarabhaigh - After bagging Sleteachal Mhor & Heastabhal, descended to col & then up between rock outcrops to the summit shelter - A fairly rough descent down E. side of valley back to car; better option may have been to keep to higher ground further E. (S)gerrybowes23/06/2017
Round of Sleteachal Mhor and Roineabhal from Ceann Tarabhaigh. This is a nice top, with a good little shelter incorporating bits of the old trig.jenx05/05/2016
With Jenx, after Sleteachal Mhor and associated minor tops. Avoided the weather apparent to the south. Great summit shelter with old trig pieces evident.nordicstar05/05/2016

Revisit. Heathery hill, rocky crag-girt summit. Approached from ESE this time, B8060 jct, track partway then undulating dampish heather, drier & better than from S. Rain caught me at summit, then didn't stop all day.RHW29/08/2007
Round of both tops of Sleteachal Mhor and Roineabhal from Ceann Tarabhaigh. The boat house between the two is locked.Eddie15/07/2007
