A short but steep diversion off Stage 2 of the Wye Valley Walk (Tintern - Monmouth). Leaving the WVW on a bend and following a forestry track which petered out then headed very steeply to the summit. A bit of a gloomy day so the light up here wasn't great, but it's a nice solitary spot. Carried on along the ridge to rejoin the path at the minor col.thesweetcheat23/07/2022

Walked up on the road from Tintern and entered the wood from the forestry commission road then joined the wye valley route. A lovely route with a well defined summit ridge and no problems of access. Had a good look around as usual. Some lovely views up the wye valley from a path just above the wye valley route. Descend via the wye valley walk.hodder17/03/2022
