From NW along FPs to trig by gate. Ground to north probably as high. Good views north from near telegraph pole. | PeterD | 21/07/2022 |
Next to beautiful white trig by fence junction. memorial to wartime resistance personnel. ridge with telegraph pole in nearby field is lower. | Denise | 07/11/2021 |
From lane to NW. RoW over pasture. Very well maintained trig pillar more or less at high point. Ground in wedge of garden to NW is fractionally higher but likely due to disturbance. | RichardM | 07/11/2021 |
From the west. The summit trig is on the drive and there is a stone circle opposite which I cannot find mention of anywhere. | clivevilla | 30/04/2021 |
Newport - bus to near Tredunnock - Wentwood - Cefn Henlla - Pen Ty-coch - bus to Caerleon - Lodge Hill - Brynglas - Newport. | Mark Jackson | 04/01/2020 |
Back to the road from Pen-ty-Coch then east along lanes to the east side of Madam Rogers Wood, then a short walk along the footpaths through the fields to the trig pillar. Good views from the walk back to Caerleon. | Mariana Trench | 22/06/2019 |
Pitch dark so took the fp through fields rather than give concern to the residents of the house next to the top. Good night views of the east valleys. | Campbell Singer | 12/01/2019 |

Easy one, drove right up to it, adopted and had a very interesting plaque. | thejackrustles | 06/03/2016 |
Easy access by r.o.w. | Adrian | 06/12/2015 |
Approached from minor road to NW. Summit seems to be at or very near trig pillar, perhaps 3m to the N. | jonglew | 02/08/2014 |
I used the footpaths in and out as the farmer was around and I didn't know if he'd be upset by people walking up and down the track. As I was walking out I was followed by over 100 noisy sheep. Trig looks like it has had another coat of white paint. | Father Ted | 13/03/2012 |
