Having visited Salisbury yesterday there was a nice symmetry about climbing this hill. Crossed bwf (unnecessarily) eventually found path to top but much wind blown fallen trees to clamber over or around. Descended back to col and NE back to road junction, though partially diverted by deep and swift flowing brook near The Mill.Rob Rees06/03/2022
Third of 3 Tumps by bike from David Broome Event Centre. From Penhow Castle & Church, via The Knoll. Grassy / overgrown track leads from col towards hill. Track improves through more use nearer the summit.Minto27/07/2019
From The Knoll, scrambled down the slope to the col, then along the footpath which becomes a track leading over the high pointMariana Trench12/04/2019
