Tried RHW's route but could get no further than mast - security fence topped with barbed wire barring access to reservoir track. Possible route round but overlooked by houses so not prepared to try it. | Mark Jackson | 10/07/2021 |
Parked at the new houses close to the mast. Past the mast and west of the resevoirto top. Very friendly pony. | Campbell Singer | 25/01/2020 |
Parked on the RH bend to the SE by the cemetery. Made a bit of a mess of finding my way up and had a lot of bramble bashing. Also encountered a man on the way down who was not very happy. He was fair and realise that I was no harm but had had problems with thieves recently. | clivevilla | 09/10/2019 |
Made mess of this one and required scramble through under growth to reach pasture and HP. | PeterD | 22/08/2018 |
As RHW. Track through the quarry seems to go nowhere, but leads to a pasture. | jonglew | 30/01/2017 |
From se, parked in old quarry, track continues to summit pasture. OS surface block 7m wsw of highest point. | RHW | 14/08/2016 |
