Logged Descriptions  (logged by 24 users)ByDate of Ascent
Good parking at entrance to wood, then plenty of paths to choose from. Summit area in trees and no clear-cut hp but had a good wander around.milimana23/08/2023
Small car park to E, by telephone box. Into woods, and path to right leads to ROW. Summit not far off ROW.PGCE21/04/2023
From east along PROW, initially passing gallops before entering a wide muddy foorpath through the forest.cjo09/04/2023
Walked up from Rogiet following the Monmouthshire way, via windmill lane and via the footpath up the hill. A typical forestry covered hill at least some good reception as my phone took me to the correct spot. The hill has quite a few pits possible from some previous workings although the entire place is now covered by trees at least theirs no problem of access and means you can relax a bit. Numerous footpaths on the hill need the GPS.hodder04/11/2021
From Severn Tunnel Junction station, through Rogiet village, then up Minnitt’s Lane right on the track that runs east through Slade Wood then north and east on forest paths to the high pointMariana Trench11/05/2019

Off-road parking for a few cars opp. phone box. Good woodland paths from there, with last section through managed woodland, but whole area is flat, no knowing where the HP is.jonglew20/10/2016
