From Bowglass, hard cycle up rough track then descended on foot to bridge and up grassy track to NE ridge.Topographer5701/06/2023
From Teileasbhal. Very short scrambling move off the top of Teileasbhal, then an east stroll along the broad ridge with a couple of easy bouldery sections. Down to the col, then the usual steep heathery, grassy ascent. Slightly caught out by a large cairn at the south east end of the summit plateau which is not the summit. From the true summit, easily down to about the 380m contour, from there the ground is a bad combination of mud, heather and stones and I was fortunate a slip resulted in only a slightly grazed shin. Good track to the footbridge and on to the lodge, then excellent gravel track all the way back to Miabhaig.Owen B24/05/2023
Biked in from car park. Track badly deteriorated, shepherds said due to summer floods. Left bike at Bealach na h-Uamha, track down to river (and bridge) very bad. Stalkers path to high point, good condition, then up ridge.iangalbraith10/09/2022
From Bogha Glas car park. Good track to Bealach na h-Uamha, descended to the footbridge over Abhainn Langadail. Up track to the foot of the north ridge. A quick detour to the summit cairn on Rapaire. Lovely walk up the north ridge to the summit. Descended on grassy slopes SE to cross the river then back up to the bealach. Added the three summits of Liuthaid on the way back. From Bogha Glas car park (NB 1860 1154): Stulabhal -> Rapaire -> Griosamul -> Beinn a' Bhoth -> Sgalabhal -> Sgalabhal Mheadhonach -> Sgalabhal Beag -> Ascleit -> NB 1390 2374, where second car was parked. Pleasant 26km with Dave McGimpsey.jonglew25/09/2019
Good parking on the road bend at 186115. Fast walk to the bealach and then descent to the new bridge across the Langadail. Good ancient zig zag path to the col on the NE side before an easy ascent. Dropped down the SE slope and back to the bealach. 4 hour 40 min with CM.bolton22/06/2019
From E, parked on CP by A859. Followed track to 330m at col NE of summit, up N ridge. Descent to S to feint path and then track back. With PM. Saw and photo’d my first Golden Eagle.CJM22/06/2019
From the east, good track over the col then excellent stalkers path/track and up the north ridge.N.Morters27/05/2019
From Bowglass up the good ATV track, over a new f/bridge at 148121 and up to the high point on the track 330m at 136129. Faint track up to ridge and glorious views from summit.15k.NormanW11/05/2019

Great track from the east up to the bealach then easily up N ridge. Nice and dry underfoot. Was looking forward to a quiet walk in remote country but the hill was absolutely teeming with mountain marathon runners!AndrewFinnimore01/06/2018
On a glorious day, from the car park on the bend just past Ardvourlie, along and down the track to a very new and shiny bridge across the Abhainn Langadail, then up the track to the lovely NE ridge. Met Peter and Liz at the top. Over to the big cairn, then down the SSW side to the old path, which needs a bit more traffic to prevent its disappearance. Path disappears at the river crossing, best made at some gravel banks, as it is deep and slimy elsewhere. Thrash along the river, and up by the fence to gain a decent track.Gill21/09/2017
Traverse of Uisgneabhal Mor, Teileasbhal and Stulabhal from B887 S to Bowglass E with 2 carsGalltywenallt16/06/2016
Parked the van at Druim na Caorach, and leaving Jenx having a good rest set off alone on a sparkling day and using the good track. Down to the Langadail burn the track is damaged by water and MTB's. The bridge at bottom was washed away in the winters rain and not replaced as yet, if the burn was in spate then a long walk upstream would be required to cross. Up the fine NE ridge, the Hump Rapaire afterwards an anticlimax. Back the same way as in.nordicstar14/05/2016
Parked at Druin na Caorach then used the great track to bag Stulabhal and then Rapaire with George Morl on a dry sunny day.Dugswell214/09/2014
Out & back from Aird a Mhulaidh. Threaded the E crags before descent NW to track.Smudge10/06/2014
East to west traverse of North Harris mountains with Franni Baggins starting at Bunavoneadar and finishing at Bedersaig. Climbed after Uisgnaval Mor. Followed on to Oreval.raffemeister26/05/2014
Long walk in on good track, river in spate but none too difficult. Weather atrocious so decided to leave out Rapaire.Martin R09/10/2013
With Tony Smith after Rapaire from E. Bridge over Abhainn Langadail gone.jimbloomer222/09/2013
From Bowglas along the track, in and out of visibility through fast moving cloud to the top, with excellent views over the track through to Miavaig, about a thousand feet below.dandaran20/03/2013
With Mora, from the head of Loch MhiabhaigBLACKHILL11/06/2012
from Teileasval. More gentle footwork dodging rocks and down on grass for at least 2 miles on a broadening ridge with herd of 60 deer preceding me. Hare. To bealach at 14.30 and easily up via stepped grass round crags to the stone covered ridge and column 10087 at 15.00. A lone deer sunbathing on its side! Seaforth island, and Caiteshal on the Pairc. Gently down on grass runs and another 3/4m of rough stuff to join a stalkers path to a junction and to track at 16.50. 1 1/2 hr walk back to car, passing the impressive Sron Scourst. 3,800' - 8 1/4 hrs. TV switched off in Isle of Harris hotel as England were playing!arranc18/06/2010
Revisit. Fine rocky summit, great view. Good track in from E. River crossing OK if not in spate; there's a bridge 200m upstream. Visted Rapaire then this with Richard Speirs, then went on to Teilesval then the Clisham tops.RHW08/04/2009

Round in the rain of Uisgnaval Mor, Teileasval and Stulaval.Eddie25/10/1996
Day 3 of Western Isles Challenge. 7km pedal on mountain bike in to await Rob coming over the hills from the west to the handover checkpoint at Loch Bhoisimid. He then set me off on a 9k run east over this hill(c,point on summit) and out on path to main road to east to set Lesley off northwards on her road bike. Meanwhile Rob cycled back out on the mountain bike which I had left and was shuttled on by Claire our support driver. Next job for me was a spell on the road bike -alternating riders - then an orienteering course in Stornoway castle grounds, before more long bike miles north (with a bog run for Rob) to the distant Butt of Lewis finish.Chris Pearson10/05/1996
