Long walk from Westnewton, on the return leg now. Seriously windy now so glad of relative shelter on the way from Coldsmouth Hill. Blasted again at the cairn, with wind assistance on the way to Ell's KnoweColin Crawford19/09/2018
Parked off minor road to the west. Up Pennine Way with detour to Green Humbleton. Then onto White Law before off piste route to Madam Law and then Coldsmouth Hill on a lovely sunny morning.Dugswell230/08/2017
Revisit as unsure about whether I had actually reached the top some years ago. Parked almost at end of the Trowupburn road where the good metalled road crosses a cattle grid one field before the house (alt 230m) . Take the right hand veering track alongside the wall until it meets a good uphill track. This can be followed all the way to the summit over the intervening two bumps. 4.68km, 90 minutes, 189m ascent.moorsman01/08/2017
Grassy parking area at NT 83988 27645 by track on north side of minor road from Kirk Yetholm (just after cattle grid). Undulating, near 7 mile walk to take in Green Humbleton > Coldsmouth Hill > Madam Law & White Law. Pleasant route mostly on tracks and paths.David Gradwell10/05/2017
