Parked with permission at Bygate Hall Cottages NT 8651 0832.carole engel20/07/2019
From the road before the turn off to Bygate Hall Cottages. Through the cottages and follow the road until it crosses Croft Syke (one big return loop). Tank tracks lead from the river up to the fence near the summit (where they stop). This leaves only a short distance of rough fell to the summit.moorsman05/08/2017
From Dumbhope Law via Fallow Knowes. Remains of old partially buried cairn on top. Made diagonal rough descent of hill back to Bygate - a mistake, should have taken longer route down along shoulder.Aye Jimmy14/08/2016
Ranges seemingly closed for Xmas, so took chance to bag Dumbhope Law, Long Hill and Inner Hill from Bygate Hall cottages. Dropped down steeply NE from Inner Hill and back up road. 5.7miles, 3.25 hrs.Crib Goch19/12/2015
