Dod hill and langlee crags from south middleton biked up the track. | robertphillips | 19/02/2023 |
Tracks from South Middleton then direct to the summit over fence a bit of rough going. Took the longer way back to the track which was worse. No real tracks to follow and all the sheep tracks going the wrong way. Not a hill i'll be back to. | Walker Dan | 26/08/2022 |

With Jo, circular walk from Langleeford. Paths/tracks to Langlee Crags, then moorland walk to Dod Hill. Returned via Threestoneburn Stone Circle, Housey Crags and Long Crags. Weather; sunny, warm, good visibility. | amblerbob | 29/06/2021 |
Room for a couple of cars at the bend in the road S of Ilderton (NU01422136). Paths and track > Heddon Hill. Continued S on track then W. Footbridge at ford W of The Dod (NT98442013). > Dod Hill. | JohnR | 16/11/2020 |
Area for a couple of cars on grass at bend in road (NU 014 213). Took FP across first field to access land (difficult cows roaming on access land). Then up ATV track to near trig on summit of Heddon Hill. This takes one down to the bridleway and onto farm access road past Dod farm to the ford (good FB for walkers). Once over cattle grid took another ATV track north to close to summit of Dod Hill. 10km there and back with 300m ascent in 2h20m. (S) | silveracorn_alan | 24/10/2020 |

Tracks and rough walking from South Middleton | Colin Crawford | 23/03/2019 |
From South Middleton - followed farm/forestry road to W of summit then direct to summit over rough tussocky terrain | Crib Goch | 12/09/2017 |
A very easy walk from the east. Parking on the verge at Whaupmoss Plantation (alt 193m). A short road walk then, from the the right angled bend in the road on the left, there is an excellent stoned track all the way to the ford. Walk another 20m and look or a path which leads all the way to the summit. 12.4 km, including Heddon hill | moorsman | 31/07/2017 |
From Langlee Crags on tracks both moist and dry passing Middleton Crags until active logging track met (note wasteland to SW that was Threestoneburn Wood). Cross track then directly to Dod Hill, no path. | Aye Jimmy | 14/07/2016 |
From ESE, parked at start of track, which I walked to cross burn (footbridge) then cut back NE on decent grass to rocky summit. | RHW | 17/05/2014 |
