Parked by house at the end of the drive. Tried to ask if it was OK but only the dog seemed to be there. Up drive then onto HW path and a lovely walk to the summit. | clivevilla | 10/10/2023 |

From Steel Rigg car park along Hadrian's Wall path > Highshield Crags > Hotbank Crags > Sewingshields Crags. Return via paths and tracks 500m N of the wall saves a lot of climbing. | JohnR | 26/08/2021 |

Crossed Sewingshield Crags, Hotbank Crags, Highshield Crags, and Peel Crags on Day 9 of A Pennine Journey from Acomb to Steel Rigg. With Annette, Christine, Eric, and Geoff. An awful day. A gale force head wind with driving rain. We got soaked. 27km with 800m of scent in 8 hours. | silveracorn_alan | 30/05/2019 |

Walked from lay-by near lime kiln (turret 37a - near where the Pennine Way leaves the Wall) and passed over Sewingshields Crags on way to Chollerford as part of my Grand Tour of Northumberland. Very foggy all day and a fine mist blown on the wind made for difficult filming conditions. | NorthernWayfarer | 07/04/2019 |

Walked up to Winshield Crags, then back to road continuing to Peel Crags, Highshield Crags, Hotbank Crags and Sewingshields Crags back via Housesteads, the day started cloudy but turned out clear and sunny, drove to and bagged Thorngrafton Common afterwards. | DanTrig | 04/11/2017 |
