Crossed Sewingshield Crags, Hotbank Crags, Highshield Crags, and Peel Crags on Day 9 of A Pennine Journey from Acomb to Steel Rigg. With Annette, Christine, Eric, and Geoff. An awful day. A gale force head wind with driving rain. We got soaked. 27km with 800m of scent in 8 hours.silveracorn_alan30/05/2019

Walked from lay-by near lime kiln (turret 37a - near where the Pennine Way leaves the Wall) and passed over Sewingshields Crags on way to Chollerford as part of my Grand Tour of Northumberland. Very foggy all day and a fine mist blown on the wind made for difficult filming conditions.NorthernWayfarer07/04/2019
