Clockwise route starting at Kirk Yetholm. Green Humbleton > Coldsmouth Hill > Hadden Hill SW Top > Ell`s Knowe. All hills connected nicely. 4 hours to complete, walking mostly on short grass. Returned using St Cuthbert`s way.Andrew Simmons17/12/2020
Ample parking at Hethpool.-> Great Hetha > White Law > Madam Law > Ell's Knowe. Easy track/path/cropped grassland. Returned via St.Cuthbert's Way.JohnR09/12/2020
Parked on grass just beyond the cattle grid in the field before Longknowe Farm (NT 872 311). Up farm road to Elsdonburn Shank, then along ridge visiting Coldsmouth Hill, White Law, Madam Law and Ell's Knowe before dropping down to Elsdonburn. Then onto next ridge visiting Haddon Hill (both tops), Longknowe Hill (both tops) and Kilham Hill. Lovely grassy ridges - generally easy walking with good views. 17.8km with 1400m ascent in 5h30m. Second on circuit Gt Hetha, Ell's Knowe, Madam Law, White Law, Coldsmouth, Haddon SW, Haddon, White Hill. Dry at first then rain. SW from top of Hetha then very rough ascent of hillside past circular pond.Aye Jimmy06/07/2016

Parking by the cattle grid adjacent to Longknowe Farm. Took in Coldsmouth Hill first then an easy walk to Ell's Knowe. The small St Cuthbert's Way section is a little overgrown but no real problems.moorsman29/07/2015
