Parked roadside to S (NZ 0430 6541). Up across field to woodland. Topped out on covered resr, then dropped down to probably natural summit on S side of nice summerhouse. | jonglew | 14/06/2023 |
Up through the woods from the minor road. | robertphillips | 26/03/2023 |
A summerhouse that I wouldn't mind as my house. | Wycombe Wanderer | 18/01/2023 |
As others and parked to the south | Andrew Simmons | 30/07/2022 |
Verge parking on minor road to the S. Across the field, into the woodland and up to the HP. | JohnR | 11/02/2022 |
Verge parking 100m west of the rear entrance to the school, 200m west from the start of the bridleway. Walked back to the start of the bridleway but, as it was so open, I continued along the road to the end of the next field. Here it is a very short, well hidden field crossing up to the wood and entered the wood close to the summit. | moorsman | 02/07/2021 |
Magnificent summerhouse/folly with garden furniture on patio at summit. Parked at start of BW at NZ 0417 6534 | carole engel | 30/07/2019 |
Revisit, now that the summit's been relocated. From lane to SE - gate, line of small cypress? trees, step over fence into little wood, up to castellated house next to covered reservoir. | Aye Jimmy | 03/10/2016 |

New summit: From SW on a drizzly late evening: followed driveway. Summit in copse close to SW corner of unusual castellated single storey house | RHW | 11/03/2016 |
No longer summit - relocated Jan 2016! From ENE, f/p starts by East Lodge. Into sports field then R along track and up into wood. High point by path, water tap and pointed mossy rock with 'T' inscribed nearby. | Aye Jimmy | 23/01/2016 |
. I noticed a 179m spot height on Geograph, a couple of hundred metres NW of original top at circa NZ 041,655 which has been confirmed by DoBIH. I had tried to reach actual summit on 15/1/2016 but it is in scrubby fenced-off woodland, immediately behind a private residence with people around. I got to within 20m of the top, in the field to the east. | Crib Goch | 15/01/2016 |
Old summit: From N, path climbing L avoids nettles. No sign of observatory at summit which used to have a trig bolt. Revisit needed for relocated summit... | RHW | 11/10/2015 |
