From road jct. to W. with brother, Pete. Nice little walk along a grassy trod to HP, back btw two areas of the degraded (but still pleasant)limestone pavement. Very good underfoot, we could see (and feel) why people do walks all over the fells and combining with Nettle Hill.pwheeler17/06/2021
From the cottage in Little Asby where we were staying. Simple trudge across moorland which is rocky in places. Made somewhat arduous due to high winds and heavy rain. With Evangeline and Dulcie. About 60m ascent.RoguePulsar31/10/2020

Sunday morning stroll with Eire, Evan, Sail & Alfie. We also climbed up to the top of Linglow Hill (345m) on the way over here.Dangerous Dave30/10/2016
A special place. Camped with Darren on grass by roadside junction on a nice summer evening and ambled up here after supper across the limestone pavement. All round views for miles of emptiness, just smooth rolling hills with hardly any sign of buildings or humans and no light pollution as the last bands of red sky died over distant Blencathra and Carrock Fell. Further enhanced during a nighttime loo call when looking up through thin herringbone cloud lit by a crescent moon to the vastness of stars. Few days later discovered that this emptiness is now to be added to the Yorkshire Dales National Park. A good move (despite it being mostly in Cumbria)Chris Pearson29/07/2016
Very pleasant amble from the NW on grassy strip between limestone pavements. Fine old cairn.Aye Jimmy16/05/2015
