Lots of verge parking, grassy path to lovely viewpoint. Started through static caravan park, friendly wave from a few maintenance workers. With Pete.pwheeler12/03/2024

Up through the wood down the path to the caravan park.robertphillips02/07/2022
Grassy summit with large cairn and excellent views. There's a static holiday caravan site on the NW side of the hill and we descended on a good path to the top of the site, deserted today. We ascended from the road to the west, steeply through open woodland, trending north around a line of gorse to reach the path through the (dead) bracken.Denise 09/03/2022
The usual route, up through the wood and gorse, down the path through the holiday park. A nice little hill with large summit cairn and great views.RichardM09/03/2022

Walked through the holiday village, as there was nobody in the office. Straightforward path to the summit, which actually has a cairn as well as an excellent view across Ullswater. On return I met the estate officer, who politely pointed out that it was private land. Best to ask permission, if he is around.JohnW14/10/2020

From lane to west. Steep start, rising traverse to right at gorse line and picked up a good path to summit.Wycombe Wanderer16/12/2018
I asked permission from someone working on the holiday site. Just don't park on anyone's plot he said. What a result I even managed to park at the top of the siteDC11main01/04/2018
Over gate into woods then steeply up scree, through gorse. Found a grassy track going up then came face-to-face with a Rottweiler! I said good morning to the owner and walked up to the cairn. No-one else about so I walked out of the caravan park front gate.Dangerous Dave01/01/2018

From the road due W, through a field gate and steeply up to the gorse line then contoured round N and W to meet the path from the caravan park, which is what I usd to descend. Nice little top with a big cairn.jonglew01/08/2017

Continuation from Hagg Hill and about 179 times better than it.alda27/03/2015
Entered through the closed Knott Hill holiday home site (roadside parking available on the verge just west of the site). Easy walk to the top, accessing the path between 2 of the lodges.moorsman05/03/2015
From SW parking partway up hill by metal gate into wood. Up wood, over fence at top, through gap in gorse to nice summit with large cairn.Aye Jimmy03/02/2015
