Circuit from Lochboisdale. Starnmdard route axcross bridge near Lasgair, route skirting round S side of Loch nan Smalag, then climbed Beinn Ruigh Choinnich. Followed ridge N then E to beallach and climb to Triuirebheinn. Continued to Eliogar, and long climb to Stulabhal. Descent ton bealach and continued to Mullach a' Ghlinn Mhoir and Beinn Ailein - camped close to summit. On to Airneabhal and its W top, then descent SW to climb Criribheinn and then Leathabhal. Descent SE then across moorland to bridge. Very hot, sunny and dry. | RobertP | 16/06/2023 |

Parked at Mingarry. Stulabhal, Airneabhal. | CJM | 07/09/2022 |
From Mingarry. Single hill day in bad weather while feeling very unfit. Solo. | Dangerous Dave | 11/06/2022 |
Parked end of peat cutters' track to Loch nan Caorach (NF 7638 2568). Took a direct line up to here, on to Stulabhal -> Mullach a'Ghlinn Mhoir -> Beinn Ailein -> Trinneabhal -> Heabhal and back to car for a pleasant 9.5 mile round with 950m of ascent. | jonglew | 19/09/2021 |
From the Mingarry track, joining an ATV track. Easy crossing of big river on large rocks, then soggily to below the hill. Shit vegetables about half way up the hill then it improves. Down and up to the summit, then down to cross the river E of Loch Drollabhat, up to Stulabhal, fine ridge, nice summit, good views. Back via the ATV track across the river, running moistly up and down and up and down through soggy vegetables below Airneabhal in a haze of midges. | Gill | 08/09/2021 |
From Mingerraidh road end - with Bolton. Airneabhal then Stulabhal. Stulabhal looks superb on approach. A good hill day. | ger | 08/09/2021 |
Parked on the Mingarry road. An ATV track of sorts runs beyond the end of the marked track. With Ger and then on to Stulabhal. | bolton | 08/09/2021 |
From road end Mingarry. Chose Bealach Heabhal approach and found a reasonable path round Trinneabhal. Weary hill following big day on Beinn Mhor and Hecla group. | N.Morters | 06/05/2021 |
From Mingarry then on to Stulabhal. | NormanW | 02/05/2019 |

Second of circuit of 4 from parking at junction to W. Sunny. Lovely hill | Thearlaichdubh | 25/05/2018 |
From Loch Eynort. Views to St Kilda. Back over tump and hump. | Topographer57 | 20/09/2017 |
A rugged horseshoe walk from the South Loch Eynort road. Trinneabhal, then a steep descent and bushwhack reascent to Airneabhal, where two I surprised two hinds as I reached the summit plateau, down again and the steepest ascent yet to Sheaval, descending its NE spur to the road. Timeless, majestic surroundings. | Nick Down1 | 18/07/2017 |
9am bus from Lochboisdale up to Mingarry turn. Then the 4 Marilyns heading back to Lochboisdale. 6.5 hrs. Great walk. Not difficult. Hebridean skies and snow showers, mostly missing us. | jenx | 27/04/2016 |
With Jenx. Bus from Lochboisdale to Mingarry, then track across moors towards Arnaval. Quad tracks made by peat cutters avoid most of the wet ground. Easy slopes to twin top then main summit. Onwards to Stulaval and eventually walk back into Lochboisdale and van. | nordicstar | 27/04/2016 |
Barbara dropped me off at Mingearraidh. Track to Loch nan Cabracih in poor condition. Turning at end would be difficult. Bog not too bad although river crossing was more leaping stones than stepping stones. otherwise straightforward and onto Stulabhal, Triurabheinn and Beinn Ruigh Choinnich. Helped by wind from north. Tough, rough ground. | Campbell Singer | 07/04/2016 |
With Mora, from Unasaraidh | BLACKHILL | 24/05/2015 |
Dropped off at Lasgair, Lochboisdale. Ascended Beinn Ruigh Choinnich, Triuirebheinn, Stulabhal, Airneabhal, crossed east flank of Trinneabhal and descended to be picked up at road end. Dropped off at road end on north side of Loch Aineort. Ascended Beinn Mhor, Beinn Choradail, Hecla and descended to Loch Sgioport. Amazing travesrse - thanks for the lift across Loch Aineort btw. Would be good to use a bike or kayak for this also. | raffemeister | 15/04/2015 |

From end of tarred road at Mingary, on stony track past a new hut to Loch Caorach. Across rough moorland turned right to try to get across stream. Source of stream was a small loch in swamp. Turned left to a complex buggy crossing where two streams met. Both feet wet. Over spongy tiring moor into mist. To visible horizon 3 times to neat cairn on first ridge. On compass over more wet heather to the top at 11.20. Small cairn on grey slab. Lots of golden plovers. to Stulaval. | arranc | 16/06/2010 |

Round of Beinn Ruigh Choinnich, Truirebheinn, Stulaval and Arnaval from Oratobht. Hot drag back over the bog. | Eddie | 18/04/2003 |
OK hill, no views 1/8/01. Auratote 783201 to Unasary 772276 over 4 Marilyns | RHW | 01/08/2001 |
The final summit was obtained by one last steep slog after a very nice descent along the north west ridge of Stulaval. From top the road could be seen several miles away and the course of the nine miles back to the car only 3 of these miles were hitched | garyhoney | 31/07/2001 |
