| If doing this hill along with Wan Fell, read my comments on Wan Fell first. Don't try and walk directly between them due to deep, unavoidable, bogs, difficult vegetation and fences. Far better doing Wan Fell first. If doing this on its own you can access the land via a stile to the east at map spotheight 167 or risk navigating the somewhat tricky barbed wire around the gate. Track after this gate keeps you on the open access ground so is perfectly legal. | moorsman | 03/08/2022 |

| 2/2 Parked by the quarry, negotiated the terrible barbed wire (you can get through by squeezing under it on fence to left of the bridle gate) bad to see an open access closed like this. Wandered over to Wan Fell, using Western side of the access area then more successful dry return using the Eastern Side to Brown Rigg.
