From abandoned house as others. Easy going 4th hill of the day. Cold, fresh snow on high points on N.HarrisN.Morters04/05/2021
From the abandoned house to the west, where there is room to park off the road and through the gate. Faint path leads to second fence, which can be stepped over, and then up the open hillside.Winterfloodian19/10/2020
A delightful and easy walk from the abandoned house. Pasture at first, then a step over fence to short, dry bog grass (sounds wrong, but you'll see what I mean) and firm ground allowing an easy quick float to the top. Lovely views of the machair and beaches to the west, Harris and Bernaray to the north and the water world to south. Fabulous!Gill18/10/2020

On Hebridean Way (or just off actually).clivevilla04/06/2019
From the deserted house at NF888765, through a gate and deer tracks most of the way up. There are a lot of walls and fences shown on the map, all old turf walls long abandoned except one topped with a non-barbed wire fence. Cloud on the top ~100 ft came and went, the limited view being fascinating including the Lees and a world of water and rock where it was hard to make out the sea from freshwater lochs.pwheeler19/05/2019
From the derelict house - a clear sunny day and tremendous views.Chris Peart27/04/2019
2nd visit. A short diversion off the Hebridean Way, whilst recceing the route for Alpine Exploratory. Isn't it great when you get paid to bag a peak!PGCE24/03/2019
at end of visit to Mhairi and family who had headed off on the ferry; this was my second of three Marilynns that day; after lunch at the Bernaray Shop & Bistro which is run by one of Mhairi's friends, I headed back across the causeway to North Uist; I parked just of the road (B893) and headed straight up the hill; I discovered that there was a more straightforward approach along part of the Hebridean Way from Loch an Sticur where there is a Dun in a lochan and information board; I returned to the car by my direct route. There were great all round views from the summit on what was a beautiful blue sky day. I took a brief detour in the car to look at the approach from Loch an Sticur before heading for my last hill of the day.langskill10/08/2018
